RECCER'S NOTES: There are few fics inspired by Pierce's Trickster novels which is a shame as they feature some of her best writing. This is a lovely tale of how two separate gestures bring the chance of a welcome break from duties into Dove's life.

You're right, there aren't nearly enough Trickster fics around(though they aren't my favorites of Pierce's work). It was nice seeing Dove again, and showing the effects of being Queen.

I'm glad you enjoyed the fic:) I don't understand why there aren't many fics when Pierces other series have plenty of fics.
