This is really beautiful. There are touches of John/Mary, but this is most definitely a gen fic. It's bittersweet and haunting in the best possible way.

This reads very much like an early episode of the show. The brothers are out hunting down the Monster of the Week - there's creepy stuff, a dose of angst, Dean is a smart ass, Sam figures stuff out, they banter and bicker... I really like this fic.
