FIC SUMMARY: Charlie's an old hand at being left behind by women; he could show Edward and Jacob a trick or two.

RECCER'S NOTES:

I am not 100% familiar on Twilight canon, I will admit. I've read the books once each, and I've only seen two of the movies, so I can't really vouch for how in-character this fic is, I guess...
But I really did enjoy this. I liked seeing an exploration of Charlie and Bella's relationship, and the similarities between them, and Charlie kind of progressing as a father in a way that just happens naturally or accidentally (which feels pretty canon-y to me).
Bella leaves Edward before she marries him, grows up and has a life, and Charlie watches her and tries to figure her out, and it's really, really lovely.
(The comments make reference to "the next part" but after a quick hunt I couldn't find any obvious sequel, and this is whole within itself anyway.)
