FIC SUMMARY: How did Ian and Barbara explain their disappearance anyway?
RECCER'S NOTES: I’ve seen a few stories about Ian and Barbara arriving home again (the Doctor's first companions, two school teachers he kidnapped) – and how on earth they explain where they’ve been for the last two years since they inexplicably vanished along with one of their pupils. Some of them have been sweet, some dark and angsty, but I’ve never seen one that’s quite so funny. Faced with some awkward questions from the police, Barbara comes up with an unexpected solution and the result had me grinning all the way through, especially the ending!
