This is such an old, tiny fandom I'm not sure anyone else could possibly be interested, but I've been digging through old fic bookmarks and I rediscovered this and it's just DELIGHTFUL. For so few words, it hits the canon notes perfectly -- slightly weird, fully sweet, warm and good. Dan's a man of few words, but the author has those words firmly in hand and his voice is wonderful.
