The story is a character piece at its best. Both Doc and Poke are sharply drawn, we could have seen this on the show. And I really love Doc here, reflecting on what is happening.

I love characters dealing with the things that happened to them, and going to war, seeing it, living it, this is something to be dealt with.

I really like Reporter's voice here, how he tries to make sense of everything. How he turns to Fick. Loved their conversation, very realistic and in character.
